POSTPONED: Bailey and Sarah Williamson Preserve Grand Opening @ Williamson Preserve
Apr 25 @ 9:00 am – 9:00 pm

In light of the latest guidelines from the CDC about COVID-19 and postponing gatherings of more than 50 people for the next 8 weeks, TLC has postponed the Grand Opening of Bailey and Sarah Williamson Preserve, which was scheduled for April 25.

We also realized that after making the difficult decision to postpone our March and early April volunteer workdays, it would be more difficult for us to prepare the preserve for its opening day. Our amazing volunteers are an integral part of the Grand Opening of Williamson Preserve (and all our work!) helping to build trails, clear debris, and finish all the other tasks needed to prepare the preserve for its opening day. It’s never been more clear that we can’t do our work without our loyal and hardworking volunteers.

We will be rescheduling the celebration and will be in touch with a new date in the coming weeks. While it was a difficult to decision to make, we look forward to gathering together at a future date, and we know that thanks to our community’s support, we will continue to do what we can to prepare the preserve for its future opening day.

Save the date for the Grand Opening of Bailey and Sarah Williamson Preserve, TLC’s largest preserve in Wake County! We’ll be celebrating the public opening of these 405 acres all day long on April 25 with local food and drinks, music, activities for children, guided walks and bike rides, and more!

For more information on activities head to the official Grand Opening page here.
