TLC nature preserves are still open! Stay 6 feet apart, take all trash with you, and avoid overcrowding the parking lots.

Come help us keep Horton Grove Nature Preserve looking clean and pristine. We’ll have a Garbage Bingo Contest and educational activities for kids as we clean-up the preserve trails and borders. This is a great volunteer opportunity for families with children ages 6+.
Please wear closed-toed shoes. You can bring your own work gloves if you have them or borrow a pair of TLC’s.
TLC is creating an educational trail at Brumley Forest Nature Preserve. We need your help to construct, decorate, and place cover boards and frog tubes. The cover boards and frog tubes will provide habitat for lizards, snakes, salamanders, and frogs while also making these animals easier to find and giving us the opportunity to observe and learn about a variety of amphibians and reptiles. This is also an opportunity for volunteers to see Brumley before the preserve opens to the public. Children ages 4 and up can help paint and ages 8 and up can help assemble and place the trail elements.
Please wear closed-toed shoes, long pants, and clothes that can get dirty. Volunteer activities are designed for ages 4+, though younger children are welcome to accompany the group.
