The Grand Trees of Chatham will have a winter tree hike on Sunday, February 26 at 1:00 pm. The hike will be at the Triangle Land Conservancy’s White Pines Nature Preserve located at the confluence of the Rocky and Deep Rivers in Southern Chatham County. Directions to the site can be found here. Please send an e-mail to [email protected] if you would like to attend. Space is limited to 20 participants on a first-come basis. No dogs please. The White Pines Nature Preserve is a beautiful site with amazing white pine trees scattered about a TLC representative will come along 
to answer questions about the property.
If the hike needs to be cancelled because of bad weather (rain, snow), a cancellation notice will be posted by noon, 2-26-17, on the Grand Trees of Chatham Facebook page.
