Do you enjoy hiking our trails and preserves? Do you want to be able to share that with others? To become a TLC Trail Guide, Hike Leader, or Environmental Education Leader you first need to be trained!
We will meet by zoom on Wednesdays from 11am-12pm April 28th, May 5th, and 12th. There will also be in person practice trail trainings offered. These trainings will cover basic information about TLC, the expectations of each role, trail etiquette and protection, common programs, and what to do in case of emergency. You must sign up for all of the zoom trainings and at least 3 of the 4 in person trail trainings to pass. When you have completed the 10 hour training and received your background check you will become an official TLC Trail Guide!
The zoom trainings will be recorded so that you can watch them on your own time if you are not able to attend the prescheduled time.
