Captured by Brandon Watson, Johnston Mill Speed Hike Group
Find a new way to connect with nature with a speed hike at Johnston Mill Nature Preserve. TLC volunteer, Jon, will take you on an aerobic journey through the quiet morning forest. This is a great event for those looking to get some serious exercise. Leashed dogs are welcome to join.
The hike will be approximately 3 miles long with a goal pace of 15 minutes per mile.
All participants, volunteers, and TLC staff will be required to wear a mask that covers both mouth and nose the entire hike. This is a free event, but pre-registration is required. Dress for the weather, bring a water bottle, and we look forward to seeing you out on trail!
