Celebrate with us! The first Saturday in June is both National Trails Day and National Land Trust Day, so come enjoy both at our most popular nature preserve. Our first Saturday walk will explore the trails at Brumley Nature Preserve, and delve into the history of this particular piece of land. Hike leader Jack will be guiding participants through the trails to give you a new perspective on this community gem. Whether it’s your first time here or you’re a regular visitor, you are bound to gain a deeper appreciation for the land. We will be exploring the trails from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. As a special celebration Jack will be ending the hike by the pond, where there are picnic tables and a beautiful dock to enjoy a post-hike picnic if you want to bring a lunch. Just make sure you pack out your trash! For those not staying for lunch, our hike host will walk you back to the parking lot.
Please remember to wear comfortable shoes, and bring sunscreen, bug spray, and water with you. Leashed dogs are welcome.
