Years ago apple trees were planted at Brumley to attract deer, now they have attracted the interest of a local cidery seeking to make a backyard blend for conservation! Join us on July 15th** for an apple gleaning with Chatham Cider Works.  For every 8 lbs of apples gathered (enough for 1 gallon of juice) Chatham Cider Works will donate $2 to Triangle Land Conservancy! Come help us glean for good on July 15th** and we’ll celebrate with a cider tasting under the trees after the the work is done.

Can’t make it on the 15th but don’t want to miss the fun? Bring your own backyard apples to the TLC office at 514 Duke St in Durham July 10th-14th to add to our count and to the flavor of the Backyard Blend!

**In the event of thunderstorms, the event will be moved to Sunday July 16th from 10 AM-12:30 PM.
