Land Trust Day 2018

May 14, 2018

On the first Saturday in June, businesses across North Carolina show their support for conservation by donating a percentage of their sales to local land trusts.

Land Trust Day is a partnership between North Carolina businesses and our state’s 23 local land trusts. On the first Saturday in June, participating businesses display information about local land trusts and donate a percentage of their sales to assist land trusts in protecting open space, scenic views, farmland, water quality, hiking trails and other recreational resources. Land Trust Day was established in 1992 and is held in conjunction with National Trails Day, which amplifies the important role that protected natural environments and the outdoors play in the health and economy of communities across the United States.

Please join us on Saturday, June 2, and show your support of land conservation in our six-county Triangle region by shopping at Great Outdoor Provision Co. at their Raleigh and Chapel Hill locations. These two locations will donate 10% of June 2nd sales to TLC! More information is available at this website.
