Brumley Challenge!

September 28, 2017

The Wind Point Foundation is delighted to support the Triangle Land Conservancy in offering this Brumley Family Nature Preserve challenge. We support TLC because of the incredible work they do every day protecting and preserving land in ways that make a real difference to the quality of life for all Triangle residents.   –Tori Reynolds, Wind Point Foundation

Two generous donors have a challenge for you! From September 29 until October 10, Wind Point Foundation and Lianna Jarecki have offered to match all donations, dollar-for-dollar, up to $10,000! We have just 10 days to match $10k for Brumley! Donations during this challenge will support projects like:

  • improved signage
  • children’s nature playscape
  • temporary restroom facilities
  • essential trail maintenance &  stewardship.

We estimate that the trails at Brumley average about 140 users per day. To highlight the popularity of this new preserve, and to inspire community engagement, Alan and Laurie Hughes have graciously offered an additional $5,000 during the Brumley Challenge if we are able to sign up 140 new members. Alan and Laurie wrote “Given the growth of our community it is more important than ever that we preserve land that keeps the life balance that attracts so many people to our region.” We couldn’t agree more. We’re working hard every day to preserve and steward the places that make our region special. Please join us on this journey by donating today.
