What You Can Do
TLC would not exist without the generous monetary support of our donors. These conservation heroes not only fund special campaigns for specific projects, they provide funds to keep our doors open and our staff working to protect important conservation land in the Triangle. From members who contribute $50 to corporations who donate thousands, each donation is essential to saving the places we love right here at home. Donate Now!
Our volunteers are the backbone of TLC. They literally provide muscle and sweat to make trails, build benches and eliminate invasive plants. They also provide legal assistance, land appraisals, leadership and countless other skills. Find out more about our volunteer opportunities.
People develop deep connections with land. For some, the land is home. Maybe it is where they grew up or where they returned for comfort. For others, the land is a place for picnics with children and hide-and-seek in the woods. For still others, the land holds dreams for the future, whether the dream is a network of trails yet to be built or farmland that will grow food for generations to come.
We help landowners conserve their land forever, making sure their land will always provide our community with clean water, wildlife habitat, local farms and food, and a connection to nature. Find out more about donating your land.
Since TLC acquired our first property in 1984, we have taken pride in offering various outings throughout the year, including hikes, paddle trips, birding walks and special excursions just for children and their caregivers. Check out our events page to find out what is coming up soon and make sure to subscribe to our e-newsletters!
