TLC Celebrates Founder’s Day
February 17, 2012 By: Ellica
Twenty-nine years ago, a group of concerned citizens united to address a growing need in our community: preserving land across the Triangle. On Feb. 17, 1983, Triangle Land Conservancy was recognized as a nonprofit.
Today, TLC has grown into an organization with more than 3,000 members, has protected more than 15,600 acres and is scheduled to open our first public nature preserve in Durham County later this year. We're carrying out the vision of TLC's founders – and that would not be possible without your generous financial and volunteer support. So thank you!
In honor of our 29th birthday, we hope you'll make an Annual Fund gift to help TLC continue this important work. And during February, all Annual Fund donors will be entered into a drawing for a complimentary two-night hotel stay at the beach or in the mountains courtesy of Centrex Properties, Inc.* Click here to make your gift today.
Together, we're having an incredible impact on local conservation.
*To be entered for the drawing without making a gift, please call 919-833-3662 ext. 108.
