Sponsor information

We are expecting this year to be our best ride yet! Our participation has grown every year, from 90 riders in 2006 to a 200 rider sell-out in 2008. This year we've increased our limit to 300 riders and expect another sell-out!

What is Ride for the Land?

Annual bike tour desinged to showcase the beautiful landsacpes we are working to protect and raise awareness of our conservation efforts. Ride for the Land 2009 will take cyclists through the farm and forestlands of Chatham County.

How does it work?

Businesses support Ride for the Land by making case donations, making in-kind gifts of materials or services, or providing space for the event. In exchange, TLC promotes each business as a Ride for the Land sponsor.

What is TLC?

The local, nonprofit land trust for six Triangle counties. TLC offers conservation solutions to protect and enhance the quality of life of our local communities and our region. Since 1983, we have conserved more than 12,000 acres of natural and working lands and we have ambitious plans to ultimately conserve 45.000 acres over the next 15 years.

Ways to Participate

Donations of cash, mechanical time, services, and merchandise are all welcomed and appreciated.  All donations will be recognized commensurate with their anticipated value your donation.
