Sponsor Information
On July 17, 2010, Triangle Land Conservancy will host the 5th annual Ride for the Land bicycle tour. This year’s tour will bring attention to Triangle Land Conservancy's work to protect the streams and farms and forests of Johnston County and the Marks Creek area.
We are expecting this year to be our best ride yet! Our participation has grown every year, from 90 riders in 2006 to a 300+ rider sell-out in 2009. This year we've increased our limit to 400 riders and expect another sell-out!
A great deal of the success of Ride for the Land is the strong support we have received from the cycling business community and the local businesses in the area of the Ride. We're seeking that support again this year. To thank you for that donation, we will recognize your business as a Ride for the Land sponsor, providing you with sponsor recognition.
Check out our Sponsorship Program.
What is Ride for the Land?
Annual bike tour designed to showcase the beautiful landscapes we are working to protect and raise awareness of our conservation efforts. Ride for the Land 2010 will take cyclists through the beautiful countryside of northern Johnston County.
How does it work?
Businesses support Ride for the Land by making case donations, making in-kind gifts of materials or services, or providing space for the event. In exchange, TLC promotes each business as a Ride for the Land sponsor.
What is TLC?
The local, nonprofit land trust for six Triangle counties. TLC offers conservation solutions to protect and enhance the quality of life of our local communities and our region. Since 1983, we have conserved more than 13,500 acres of natural and working lands and we have ambitious plans to ultimately conserve 45,000 acres over the next 15 years.
Ways to Participate
