Routes
Nobody knows the backroads of the Triangle like TLC. We put that knowledge to use in creating interesting, well-marked routes that you are sure to enjoy. Each of our Ride for the Land routes introduces cyclists to some of the most beautiful natural scenery in our region.
Ride for the Land 2009: Freewheeling Farmland Frolic routes have been specially designed to introduce riders to many of TLC's farm conservation projects in Chatham County. Our 30-, 45-, and 60-mile routes feature rest stops spaced at approximately 15-mile intervals to provide cyclists with food and drink for refueling. Our routes are impeccably marked (based on feedback from previous years) and also feature signs pointing out important natural features.
This year's routes, elevation profiles and cue sheets are below; where elevation profiles are missing, the Bikely program was unable to create it correctly. Route information for past rides is available on the page for each year.
