At the beginning of the Our Water, Our Land campaign, no one could have imagined the impact it would have in such a short period of time. Consider this: Our Water, Our Land recently reached $4.5 million in donations. What has occurred? The Land Opportunity Fund has already permanently conserved land valued at $25 million. Campaign funds underwrote the Irvin Learning Farm, an environmental education summer day camp for 5-11 year-olds at TLC’s Irvin Farm Preserve. The total acres protected at Flower Hill Nature Preserve has almost doubled, and TLC’s new Horton Grove Nature Preserve is already in the design phase – these are just a few examples of the conservation and public benefits impact!
