Regional Conservation Summit

Thursday, October 23, 2008, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
RTP Headquarters, 12 Davis Drive, Research Triangle Park, NC

Join TLC, Triangle J Council of Governments and Duke University at the Regional Conservation Summit to learn about innovative projects protecting green space in the Triangle. The summit will bring together various parties working on conservation initiatives in the Triangle in order to update information and share progress on resourceful projects. From water quality to wildlife habitat, recreation to working lands, the conservation initiatives across the Triangle vary widely. It is important to work together to develop a shared sense of priorities and responsibilities to protect the green corridors of the Triangle. The information from this Summit will be used to update progress on the Triangle GreenPrint and as a basis for regional planning efforts.

Lunch will be provided with a suggested donation of $5. For more information or to RSVP, contact Leigh Ann at lcienek@triangleland.org.
