| Description |
The first farmland conservation in Wake County, this
easement preserves valuable farmland under imminent threat from subdivision and
development. The farm operates as a horse boarding co-op. The property—mostly
pastureland, with some mixed pine/hardwood forest—fronts on Lake Wheeler. A beautiful
arboretum near the main house features plants and trees from around the world. |
