River Society Soiree 2008

On October 16, over 100 TLC members and guests gathered in downtown Raleigh at the Raleigh City Museum for the annual River Society Soiree. Event participants celebrated the River Society’s part in TLC’s success over the past 25 years and learned more about both the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead. The event also included a silent art auction featuring the work of local artists David Connell, Beth Goldston, and Jessica Poland. TLC’s River Society is comprised of more than 300 people who make annual membership contributions of $1,000 or more.

Thanks to 2008 River Society chairs Carole and Frank Gailor for hosting this year’s Soiree. Special thanks also to Robin Rhatigan, John Gilreath, and the staff of Lip Service Catering for their generous contributions that helped make this wonderful event possible.
