Triangle Land Conservancy: Backyard Adventure

With uncertain economic times, many people are looking for getaways close to home. So, TLC is happy to announce a new feature - Backyard Adventures! Every month for the next year, we will provide an itinerary for discovering some of the natural and cultural jewels of the Triangle. We'll combine explorations of natural areas with nearby dining opportunities and local culture.

Spring has made its way to the Piedmont. Migratory birds are passing through the region, and the first flowers have pushed their way into bloom. What a great time to hike and take in the refreshing warm breeze and wonderful floral smells of springtime in the Triangle with our March Backyard Adventure, Swift Creek Skateaway.

So pack up the kids, put a couple gallons of gas in the tank and come explore the Triangle with TLC's Backyard Adventures!
