Background

I earned bachelors degrees in Communications-Public Relations and General Studies and a masters degree in Communications Training and Technology from the University of Northern Iowa. I have worked in video production, university outreach and health care marketing. Before moving to North Carolina, I was the marketing and public relations manager for Silos & Smokestacks National Heritage Area. This provided a great opportunity to work toward preserving the landscape, stories and culture of the past and present.
