Ways of Giving

Matching Gift Challenge Doubles Donations
From Now Through March 31

A 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, TLC accepts a variety of gifts as outlined in our Gift Acceptance Policy¹, including:

  • Gifts of cash
  • Gifts of securities, including stock, bonds, mutual funds, and IRAs
  • Gifts of real property, including homes, business property, and conservation lands²
  • Gifts of interest in conservation lands and working lands (conservation agreements)²
  • Deferred gifts, such as bequests and trusts

Certain tax advantages exist with each type of gift, particularly gifts of appreciated property, and we encourage you to consult your accountant and/or attorney before making a gift to TLC.

For the campaign, pledges may be paid over a three- to five-year period.

Triangle Land Conservancy (TLC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Gifts to TLC are tax-deductible. You will receive a thank you letter from TLC noting the amount of your gift; please keep it for your tax records.
