\\nCalling all kids ages 7-12 (and their families!)
\nCome out to Horton Grove Natu re preserve on Saturday November 12th to learn all about medicinal plants and how they transform over the Fall. You will learn about a variety of pl ants native to North Carolina and their historical medicinal uses. With th e seasons changing\, kids will also learn about how and why plants change to create the beautiful array of Autumn color. This hike will be about 1.5 -2 miles long with many stops along the way.
\nPlease remember to we ar good walking shoes\, and bring a full water bottle and some snacks for the trail. This is a free event\, but preregistration is required.
