This event will explore the h istory and communities of Historic Stagville\, and center discussions abou t the healing and caring expertise of the people that were once enslaved t here.\nThis short hike will be a little under 2 miles\, and will journey t hrough both the grassland and forested areas of the preserve with some sli ght topographical change. There will be plenty of stops along the way to c heck out what plants we can find and identify so be sure to bring good wal king shoes\, sunscreen\, and a full water bottle.\nThis event is free but pre-registration is required.
