So come on out and join us on trail for an afternoon social hike after the heat of the day. TLC Trail Guide\, Ann\, will be leading the group through the northern section of Brumley Forest a nd will cover about 3 miles of trail.\n\nMeet new friends and get hiking w ith TLC on the first Saturday of each month! \\nDo you enjoy hiking our trails and preserves? Do you want to be able to share that with others? To become a TLC Trail Guide\, Hike Leader\, or Environmental Educ ation Leader you first need to be trained!
\nWe will meet by zoom on Wednesdays from 11am-12pm October 27th\, November 3rd\, and 10th. There w ill also be in person practice trail trainings offered. These trainings wi ll cover basic information about TLC\, the expectations of each role\, tra il etiquette and protection\, common programs\, and what to do in case of emergency. You must sign up for all of the zoom trainings and at least 3 of the 4 in person trail trainings to pass. When you have completed the 10 hour training and received your background check you will become an offic ial TLC Trail Guide!
\nThe zoom trainings will be recorded so that y ou can watch them on your own time if you are not able to attend the presc heduled time.
