Come join us for a beautiful Spring hike at our Brumley Nort h nature trails. These hiking only trails take you through multiple habita ts ranging from hard oak forest\, grass fields\, to boggy wetlands. This v ariability makes it so that there is an excellent chance that you will see some incredible wildlife at work. This easy 2-hour hike will take you thr ough about 2 miles of our trails and will have many stops along the way. p>\n
Our wonderful trail guides will meet you in the parking lot and be ready to go right at 10am. Please remember to wear good walking shoes and bring a full water bottle\, bug spray\, and sunscreen\, but if you forget we will have some with us!

Calling all kids ages 7-12 (and their families!)
\nCo me out to Horton Grove Nature preserve on Saturday November 12th to learn all about medicinal plants and how they transform over the Fall. You will learn about a variety of plants native to North Carolina and their histori cal medicinal uses. With the seasons changing\, kids will also learn about how and why plants change to create the beautiful array of Autumn color. This hike will be about 1.5-2 miles long with many stops along the way.
\nPlease remember to wear good walking shoes\, and bring a full water bottle and some snacks for the trail. This is a free event\, but preregist ration is required.
