\nJoin us at Williamson Farm and Nature Preserve to tak e part in the annual NC Science Festival Star Party with TLC! Did you know that you can walk the entire solar system at our Preserve? Dart around Ma rs and the Moon while dodging asteroids by taking just a short scaled sola r system walk on one of our trails. You can also complete hands-on activit ies that range from arts and crafts to having fun with moon phase oreos. W e’ll end the night with guided star gazing after exploring the wonders at Williamson.
\nWe will be outside the entire time\, so dress for the weather\, bring a blanket or lawn chairs to sit in\, and be sure to bring your excitement! We can’t wait to see you!

Please join us in celebration of Chatham County’s annual Cre ek Week! We will be hosting a hike at our wonderful White Pines Nature Pre serve that will cover some of the natural wonders of the confluence of the Rocky and Deep Rivers as well as some of the history of Chatham County’s land near the preserve.
\nWe hope that you will be able to join us\, just make sure you wear good walking shoes and bring a water bottle! This will be a moderate 3 mile hike with a decent amount of topography change. This is a free event\, but preregistration is required!

When dark begins to fall\, we will play some nighttime gam es and end the night with a few guided demonstrations from experts to shar e constellation stories and an opportunity to look through a real telescop e!
